Meet Patricia Katsigiannis

Patricia is a student at University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing her Masters of Accountancy degree with a certificate in Spanish studies.  This is what Patricia had to say about her experience at R&W.

      My internship with Rozovics & Wojcicki was a great learning experience that provided me a strong stepping stone for future endeavors with my accounting career. Taking part in accounting projects and tax research allowed me to piece together my knowledge from the classroom with the real world. Sitting in on client meetings with the partners gave me an understanding of how to properly interact and conduct business with clients, something I know will be of benefit to me in the future. I also worked on a few consulting projects, allowing me to dip my toe into a new area with which I had no previous experience.

     I loved how Rozovics & Wojcicki stressed the importance of a balance between work and fun. Playing Wii Golf each week, going out to lunch and attending a Cub's game with Jeff and Layne gave me a chance to build great friendships with everyone.

     Overall, I am thankful that my first internship was with Rozovics & Wojcicki. Not only did I feel comfortable from the start, but I never once felt intimidated amongst the rest of the staff. Everyone welcomed my questions and gave me guidance. I encourage other college students to take part in this internship program, as you will walk away with a handful of knowledge and memories!
